Weekly sessions are held for Special Needs and Specific Groups, for example, Over 50's, Rehabilitation programmes, visually impaired people from the Forge Centre, Special Needs Power-Lifting and Ladies Only sessions. The Centre is a "Satellite Site" for Gloucestershire University and the Northern Institute of Massage and Physical Therapies. Health Education and Fitness Instructors Courses are run on a regular basis.

Even at the age of 80 after a stroke, you can enjoy safe, controlled exercise that will give you back a quality of life.
Equipment has to be moved to provide a safe stretching area for the end of a special needs session for the visually impaired trainees. A new enlarged centre will remedy this situation.
